FOUR RIVAL FRANCHISES
The wait is over. The Premier Hockey League is Aotearoa’s elite domestic hockey competition. An annual contest with the best players. Four rival franchises, in battle for national supremacy.
It will be played across six weekends starting on 2nd/3rd November and running through until Finals weekend on Saturday 7th December.
The Tridents represent the region from the Bombays through to the far North.
The Mavericks represent the region from Taranaki right across the North Island through Waikato and the BOP to the East Coast.
The Falcons represent the central and lower North Island region, from Hawkes Bay around to the Manawatu.
The Alpiners; represent the South Island.
Player registrations have now closed. Teams will be announced on 2nd October.
